After meeting with Matt, the Managing Director of Hull Gregson Hull Portland late 2021, we began working together in 2022 once he had taken over Hull Gregson Hull Portland. Matt was keen to work with a company that could offer a complete package to enable him to consolidate all of his marketing materials and signage requirements. It was soon evident that we were the right fit for his forward thinking and ambitious plans.
Early on we kept things quite simple, gently evolving the brand to how it looks today. We have developed the image of an established brand which has had a prominent place on the high street for more than 50 years, into its new contemporary look that will go with the business long into the future. We look after all elements of the brand from the design and production of office stationery and brochures through to merchandise and signage.
With the Portland branch elevated to it’s new corporate look, which was completed with a new signage package late in 2023, our attention turned to a new premises in Swanage, which Matt successfully acquired early in 2024. This came with a new set of challenges and also the need to sympathetically rebrand a long established business in a new geographic location. Our in depth knowledge of the HGH brand and our in house production facilities enabled the Print Shop Express team to complete a full design, manufacture and refit within two months, including internal and external 3D illuminated signage, window graphics and internal displays. The results have been well received not only by Matt and his team, but also the local community.
We continue to look after the day to day requirement of both the Portland and Swanage offices, our ongoing support enabling Matt and his team to concentrate on their business – property.
I met James at Print Shop in late 2021. At that time, I was taking my first step into buying a business (Hull Gregson Hull Portland). Hull Gregson Hull Portland was a very well-established company that had been trading for over 50 Years, however, the brand hadn't been updated for some time.
I popped in to see James (along with a couple of other printing/signage companies) to ask some advice on some simple re-branding ideas. James was incredibly helpful and prepared some draft ideas very quickly and professionally. I knew from that point onwards I would like to work with him moving forwards.
Over the past two years James has assisted with a full re-brand of the company, including: logos, brochures, professional contract paperwork, flyers, magazine print ready adverts, a new facia sign, projecting sign, for sale signs, embroidered jackets, printed site jackets and more! The combination of all of the above, coupled with some enthusiasm, drive and good customer service, has facilitated the growth to another location. In January 2024, I acquired a second estate agency in Swanage. Within 3 months, the former company has undergone a full re-brand as well including all the same elements as with Hull Gregson Hull Portland.
I truly believe James and the team at Print Shop's assistance has been an integral part of the company's growth. Not only this, James has also assisted with the branding with two other associated companies of mine. Look forward to a longstanding business relationship.
