HeliOperations is based in Dorset on the site of the historic and iconic Portland Naval Base. When we received a call requesting a site survey back in 2017 we were excited to visit site and help with the initial signage requirements. This was initially to produce a modest entrance sign for the newly acquired premises. On meeting with Steve and Mark the CEO and COO it was great to hear of their plans for the base and how they intended to use the local business community to help move forward on their journey.
Since our initial meeting we have designed and produced an array of products for HeliOperations. From stationery to support the admin team, internal signage, vehicle graphics, illuminated signage for the main hangar and everything in between. Being able to offer a full end-end-solution for everything print, signage and design allows us to support every aspect of HeliOperations, whether it’s on site, or materials to represent them at both trade and air shows. We have supported in fulfilling various requirements at supporting sites in both Cornwall and Somerset.
We are very proud of our association with HeliOperations and watching them continue to grow as they have has been a pleasure to be a part of. They have become the new iconic organisation flying in the skies over Dorset and being able to manage the brand is a real privilege.
When we took over the Heli Base on Portland in 2017 HeliOperations we were keen to establish relationships with local suppliers. Initially we had been let down on a site visit from another local signage business, so one of the trades we had working on site for us recommended James and his team at Print Shop Express.
Initially we were looking for some simple signage for the entrance of the main building and some display panels for an upcoming trade show. With great communication and no fuss both of these requirements were completed to a high standard and tight deadline. Not only that but Print Shop Express know how to work with and respect brand guidelines which is so important when designing new requirements, whether its brochures, signage, vehicle graphic or anything in-between.
